"I foolishly put my phone number on a facebook ad that promised to estimate rates. My phone blew up with persistent insurance agents; calls and texts. I had to turn my ringer off. Your company was one of those who contacted me, but with a tremendous difference. I answered your text, summarily complaining and demanding i not be reached again. Id just had major surgery and today was not the day i intended to field inquiries. Your agent, as i thought at the time, wrote me a cheery message back, commiserating with me, backing off as requested and telling me your company would be happy to help when i did want help. I picked up the phone and returned the call. Thats how much i was charmed by the text i had received. Sherri told me her name when i texted her back, so when she answered the phone i knew it was her. What a wonderful lady you have in Sherri! Her friendliness, her careful attention to my complaint, her overall personality in one text is what made me call your company today instead of in a few weeks as i had planned. I know people are quick to complain—I certainly was— but i called because i wanted to work with the agent who handled that text. Thats how impressed i was. Now i realize Sherri is not an agent. Im now planning to operate on her recommendation and speak with Reba Monday. Thanks Sherri and State Farm, for turning my day around so nicely. I hope to be working with you in the near future. "In my 20+ years of buying insurance for auto, home, etc., I've never had an experience working with an insurance company like Carlos provided me recently. I'm new-ish to the area, and the last company I was with jacked up my HO rates, so I started calling around to get quotes. Most companies wouldn't give me much of their time, but Carlos was amazing. We talked for about an hour and a half (my situation was a bit complicated). He was super patient, great to talk to, and he ultimately got me better coverage and saved me a ton.
